into the forest floors undergrowth.
We talk through the night,
and I was afraid,
that I would never get it started.
So I hid from your eyes,
like a child hides when storms alarming.
A home was cage,
I was afraid of those written pages.
I needed a change,
I was a body with no place to lay it.
I breathed in your name,
as I inhaled white mountain ranges.
But when some release arrives,
it isn’t what I need.
I’m broken hearted.
I fall to my knees,
and plead,
to swiftly put an end to me.
I’m martyred.
If I had you,
I would have better spent days of my youth.
If we had a son,
so far I would never have run.
I’ll carry this tune,
accross the valleys, under the blue.
I’m still just a fool for you,
afraid that I will live and die, hard-hearted.
You married someone new,

Memories fade,
